Certified translation in Mongolia

Official translations of personal, academic, legal and corporate documents — signed and stamped by a professional translator and, where required, notarised so they are accepted abroad and in Mongolia.

What makes a translation “certified”

A certified translation is a complete and faithful translation that carries the translator's signature and stamp together with a statement of accuracy. For many authorities in Mongolia and abroad, the translator's signature must also be certified by a notary.

We prepare each translation in the format the receiving authority expects: the translation bound with a copy of the original, page numbering, translator's declaration, and a notarial certificate when needed. If the document will travel abroad, we can add an apostille or legalisation on top.

Language pairs

Most requests are between Mongolian and English, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and German. We also translate from and into Kazakh, Turkish, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic and other languages — see all languages.

Documents that contain traditional Mongolian script (Mongol bichig) are translated in full, including seals and stamps.

When a translation has to be done abroad

Some countries — for example Germany, France, Spain, Italy or Poland — may ask for a translation made by a sworn translator registered in that country. We tell you in advance whether this applies to your case and, where possible, arrange it through our international network so you receive one finished set of documents.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a certified translation take?

Standard personal documents such as birth certificates or diplomas are usually ready in 1–3 business days. Longer or technical documents take more time; urgent same-day work is often possible. You receive the exact deadline with your quote.

Do you need the original document?

For the translation itself a clear scan or photo is enough. If the translation must be bound to the original or to a notarised copy, we will tell you when to bring or send the original.

Will the translation be accepted by the embassy?

We check the requirements of the receiving authority before we start. Most embassies accept a translation certified in Mongolia; if a specific format or a sworn translator abroad is required, we say so in the quote.
