Certified true copies
A certified true copy lets you submit a document without handing over the original. A Mongolian notary compares the copy with the original and certifies that they match.
When you need one
Universities, employers, banks and migration offices often ask for certified copies of passports, diplomas, transcripts and certificates. For use abroad, the certified copy is typically translated and given an apostille.
Company documents — state registration certificates, charters and board resolutions — are also certified as copies for tenders, banks and foreign partners.
What to provide
The original document, or originals for each copy. If you live outside Ulaanbaatar or abroad, send the originals to us by courier with a short note of how many copies you need; we return them with the certified copies.

Can any document be copied and certified?
Most can. A notary cannot certify a copy of a document that is damaged, altered or incomplete; we check this before the appointment.
How many copies should I order?
Order one per institution that will keep the copy. It is cheaper to make several at once than to come back later.
