What is the difference between an apostille and legalisation?
An apostille is a single certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, valid in countries that apply the Hague Apostille Convention with Mongolia. Legalisation is a chain of certifications — notary, ministry and embassy — used for all other countries.
Which countries do not accept a Mongolian apostille?
Countries that are not parties to the Convention (for example the United Arab Emirates and Qatar), and Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany and Greece, which objected to Mongolia's accession. See requirements by country.
How much does a certified translation cost?
It depends on the length and type of document, the language pair, certification and deadline. Send us a scan and we will reply with a fixed quote — free of charge.
How long does it take?
Simple personal documents are usually translated in 1–3 business days. Apostille and legalisation add time depending on the ministry and the embassy. Your quote includes a firm timeline.
Can I send documents from outside Ulaanbaatar?
Yes. Clients from every aimag send scans for a quote and originals by courier; we return them the same way.
Can you help if I live abroad?
Yes. We obtain documents in Mongolia on your behalf, translate and legalise them, and send them to you anywhere in the world.
Do you translate foreign documents into Mongolian?
Yes. Foreign documents for Mongolian courts, notaries, registries, schools and employers are translated into Mongolian and certified.

Your documents are used only to fulfil your request, shared only with the translator, notary or authority involved, and deleted when no longer needed. See our privacy policy.
