Notary services in Mongolia

We coordinate with licensed Mongolian notaries to certify copies, signatures and translations, and to prepare powers of attorney that will be accepted in Mongolia and abroad.

What we arrange

Certified true copies of passports, diplomas and certificates; powers of attorney in Mongolian with a parallel translation; certification of signatures on applications and declarations; and notarisation of translations.

Notarial documents intended for use abroad often need an apostille or legalisation next. We plan the notarial step with that in mind so the document passes each stage.

If you live abroad

If you are outside Mongolia and need a Mongolian notarial act — for example to authorise a relative to sell property or collect documents — we can prepare a bilingual power of attorney for you to sign before a notary or Mongolian consulate abroad, with the right apostille or legalisation for use in Mongolia.

What is included

  • Drafting in Mongolian and your language
  • Appointment with a licensed notary
  • Certification of copies, signatures and translations
  • Next steps: apostille or legalisation
  • Delivery by courier or scan

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be present at the notary?

For signing a power of attorney or a declaration, yes — the notary must identify you. For certified copies of documents, we can usually act with the originals alone.

Can a foreigner sign a power of attorney in Mongolia?

Yes. The notary identifies you by passport, and we provide a translation of the document so you know exactly what you are signing; an interpreter can attend if needed.

Will a Mongolian notarial document be accepted abroad?

Usually after an apostille or legalisation. We tell you which one applies to your destination country.
